Brief
Jeffreys Interiors approached us to lead a full refurbishment of this dated property in a small town that sits on the south bank of the Firth of Clyde. We project managed the renovation from start to finish, performing various structural alterations in order to satisfy the client’s brief.
The brief was to make this home from home a family-first space. We created a series of considered rooms that support various hobbies, from playing musical instruments to reading books. The newly renovated home is abound with comfortable spots to admire the view and recharge your batteries. It’s the perfect escape from the chaos of city life.
Execution
The property was dated and in dire condition prior to the refurbishment. The client wanted to complete reconfigure the internal layout to open up the space and, in turn, flood it with light. The home is now lit from front to back with newly-installed slimline windows, which make the most of the gorgeous view.
We conducted a full rewire and installed electric underfloor heating throughout. We also re-plumbed the entire home; installing a new, state-of-the-art heating system. We created an additional bathroom, as well as a new WC on the ground floor. The two existing bathrooms were fully refurbished. The kitchen is by Peden and Pringle, as well dressers in the dining room and the bespoke bunk beds upstairs.
The property’s immaculate design scheme is an ode to Jeffreys Interiors’ incredibly talented interior design team. From Julian Chichester chairs to Charlotte James bedheads and dressing tables, British designers are celebrated throughout. Following their specifications, we redecorated throughout using a mixture of designer wallpaper and coastal paint colours.
